Day 06

Late last night the remnants of tropical storm Barry rolled into town so we woke up to cold temperatures and lashing rain. It was not the way we wanted to end the weekend in Boston and it has been really frustrating having weather that is as bad or worse than it usually is in Dublin.

After we checked out of the hostel we drove over to Fenway to take some snaps of the stadium. Then we paid a visit to the Red Sox Team Store to buy some 'official' swag. I bought a 1939 replica fitted cap while Paulo opted for a blue Red Sox T shirt. He also bought a fitted cap for Nyacko, choosing the 1939 style low profile style.

Then we drove back over to Newbury Street for a bite in Sonsie's and then across the street for a sniff in CD Spins, Newbury Comics and Urban Outfitters. Before we knew it 2.5 hours had passed and I now have to carry four more CDs, another T shirt and a new wallet around the country with me.



Having spent so much time in the shops, we landed ourselves right in the middle of rush hour traffic in the rain and got lost! Eventually we found 93 South and said goodbye to Bahston, driving about sixty miles to Lakeview. We spent the night chilling out, eating pizza and watching the Yankees / White Sox & Red Sox / A's games.
